Anyone who lived it will be floored as memories flood your body and brain, creatively curated by Ms. Red herself. If you were ever curious, this book takes you on Red's wild ride as a rebellious teen and circles it back around as a now conscientious mom. With relatable scenarios and characters alike, I found myself reading this book from start to finish. Samantha's writings are pure and true allowing you to be consumed by the story. I didn't want to eat or take breaks because I was so wrapped up in this book and I couldn't wait to see what what would happen next. The book touches on much more than some generic drug filled music fantasy that raves are often stereotyped as. It allows you to really feel the struggles of drugs , complexity of relationships, and unconditional love of family through the perspective of someone who genuinely lived it. I wasn't into the rave scene, but I knew people that were. The author has such a fun writing style and I felt like I was along for the ride.
